Our flannel comes from the storied Angelico factory in Ronco Biella, in Piemonte. The factory was founded in the 1950’s by Giuseppe Angelico and has since been developed by his sons who, with the help of innovation and new technology, have made the company one of the world’s most prominent fabric suppliers.
At Lanificio Angelico, nothing is left to chance. They select and use only the best wool, which they sort and comb according to length and direction. When they have spun the yarn and selected the finest threads, they are mounted on "jet looms" that weave the fabric with the help of air, which allows for a unique structure and softness. After washing and processing the fabric further, it is ready for delivery. In every step of the process from wool to finished fabric, checks are made to ensure quality.

Angelico stands for creativity, innovation and experience and has with those foundations created unique fabrics that are appreciated by clothing designers all over the world. They are primarily known for their high quality wool and linen fabrics, but over time have expanded their creative range to include top quality materials such as Mongolian cashmere, merino wool and Egyptian cotton. But also innovative materials such as "H-tech class" with a natural stretch and memory function that removes moist. Ideal for more relaxed styles.
