To challenge ourselves and our customers to discover our Sustain by Oscar Jacobson concept, we invited three friends to our new Sustain by store, in Gothenburg. A meeting between Oscar Arrsjö, a renowned style expert and founder of Ascaropadel, football star Johan Elmander, and Creative Director and fashion personality Richard Ntege. We gave them free rein to choose and try out their favorite items from the store, resulting in a fun afternoon filled with discussions about sustainability, style, and personality. And most importantly, differences and similarities.
We joined business man and fashion icon Filip Strömbäck as he tailored new custom made suits from Oscar Jacobson. He wanted to make three suits that together comprises perfect clothes for work but also looks good on festive occasions.

At Oscar Jacobson, our aim is to craft a wardrobe that caters to the modern man, ensuring he feels impeccably dressed for all facets of life – from work to leisure and festive occasions. Our flannel comes from the storied Angelico factory in Ronco Biella, in Piemonte. The factory was founded in the 1950’s by Giuseppe Angelico and has since been developed by his sons who, with the help of innovation and new technology, have made the company one of the world’s most prominent fabric suppliers.

Thanks to documents showing that the company's wool factory has been in operation since 1663, it is clear that the Barberis Canonico family has preserved their craftsmanship and knowledge and passed it on from generation to generation. The world's oldest textile factory has now been family-owned for 13 generations.
